Super tiny Playdoh set!

This set looks deceivingly large in pictures but it's a small set. The
storage tub is a nice touch, but there are larger sets on Amazon at the
same price without a tub. So know what you are purchasing.
No matter the size however, our toddler still enjoyed using the plastic knife and the roller because we didn't have it on our other set. While the set did come with 5 small playdoh colors, we could only make one shape at a time with each color.

My kids love Play-Doh. They go crazy to play with it any time I bring
it out (I have to put it away or it would be out all the time and it can
make a little mess with 3 kids ages 4, 2.5, and 2.5. When this arrived
they all got very excited. There are just enough different things to
keep them interested. I'm not sure I would call this the "ultimate
creativity tub," but it is a nice starter set for Play-Doh. My only nit
with the toys is the roller--it is open on both ends and one of my kids
immediately stuffed a bunch of Play-Doh into it and I had to find a
stick to get it out--we have other rollers that have closed ends that
are much better.
It isn't a large tub -- the description says 4.8 x 8 x 8, but I measured it and it is more 4.5" (deep) x 7-7.5" (width--it is tapered) x 8. I do like the size because it isn't too big and I love that everything fits back into the tub when the kids are done.
This comes with the small containers of Play-Doh, so each one is a nice size for a smaller child, but bigger kids will like more.
Overall, this is a winner since it is not too large, fits all back together, and has enough variety for plenty of creativity.
Love the Animal Cutters and Extruder! Hours of Fun So Far!

My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves this set and
has played with it nonstop since we got it. The set comes with a thick,
sturdy storage tub with a snap on lid that stays shut even when the tub
is dropped. I really like the storage tub because you can fit some extra
play-doh molds and tools inside of it that didn't come with the set.
The storage tub also makes it easy to travel with the set since it keeps
everything together. This set comes with 5 small jars of Play-doh (2
shades of blue, red, purple, and yellow), a 4" hollow plastic dough
roller, a dough extruder, a 4" "ruler" with 3 shapes on it, a 4.5"
plastic knife, 3 fruit molds (strawberry, bananas, and a pear which also
looks like a balloon). 3 large cutters (heart, circle, star), and 9
mini animal shape cutters, which measure about 3-4" long. The included
animals are an alligator, cat, fish, cow, dog, giraffe, teddy bear,
dolphin, and mouse.
The Play-doh itself is of the standard expected quality and my daughter loves the extruder so she can watch the Play-doh ooze out of it when she presses it. The "ruler" shaped tool can slide onto the bottom of the extruder, which allows the dough to come out in that shape (moon, circle, or star). It is however, somewhat difficult to clean all of the dough from the inside of that. The roller is decent and works well, but I do wish it came with a rolling pizza cutter type of tool as well. I really love the shape cutters. They are made of plastic, but they are more than sturdy enough.

This was perfect for our granddaughter to have a container to put her
Play-Doh stuff away when she was through playing. The lid, when turned
upside down, also made a good flat surface to roll her Play-Doh in to
cut the shapes out

This is a great starter kit for a small child. My toddler loves to
play with this kit (she is about two years old), but it could be
well-loved by older children too. The play-doh was fresh and brightly
colored, and the variety of tools keeps the fun going. The play-doh
containers are a bit smaller than normal sized play-dohs if you buy them
individually. The lid on the top of the tub does not always stay on
perfectly, and the lack of organization inside the tub is annoying, but
overall it's a good kit! I'd recommend it for either a less expensive
birthday gift or more expensive party favor.
2.5 Year Old LOVES it!

I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter for Christmas and she plays
with it at least once a day! It is a huge hit. There are several fun
cookie cutters, but her favorite part are the cute molds that allow you
to make different fruit shapes. There is also a "knife", "rolling pin",
and a tool that creates long strands by pushing the Play-Doh through an
opening. I even enjoy playing with this set with her :)

I was hesitant to buy this set but didn't want to invest too much into
our first Play-Doh experience. This has just the right amount of
activities for a 3 year old though without being an overwhelming mess.
My daughter is almost 3 and played with this set for and hour and a half
the first time. Everything was easy for her to use and cleaned up
nicely. Everything also fits back in the tub neatly for storage.
Great selection of Play-Doh tools and Play-doh.

This tub of Play-Doh keeps the little ones entertained for longest
time. Had purchased one to have a Grandma's house then had to buy
another for official Birthday present for the 4 yr old great-grandson.
Will continue to buy refills as this gets used up.
